My heart is overflowing

Standard

I remember when Lucy was a newborn I said “You make my heart feel so big!!!” Again I am busting with joy today as I got an update on lil Ruthie with pictures. It’s incredible how you can love the baby in your womb or baby across the ocean you’ve never met, but you can and oh, do I so much. I wish I’d get the cleaning frenzy going on like you do before you give birth. If you show up unannounced at our house right now you’d be sorry you did. But really, I know what everyone wants to see and hear.

Her height is 78CMhead 48CMweight is 12KGchest is 46Cm.She has 15 teeth. Her foot is 13cm.

She can eat some soft food like congee, steamed egg , cake, etc. She still mainly eats formula though. She can sing and dance with music. She is trying to learn talking now. She can say “baba”. (That’s Daddy in Chinese for all who want to know)

Psalm 139:13-16  For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.

Hope and More

Standard

We had a great Java Night with lots of great music! Thanks to all the musicians!!

Among other news we received provisional approval for the I800 paperwork and Ruth’s paperwork is on to the national visa center. Hoping to get that this week! China has a national holiday the first week of October so hopefully we’ll have travel approval by the end of the month!!!

I still have several necklaces, t-shirts to sell (mainly smaller sizes), and marble magnets to sell so leave a comment if you’re interested in one. Here’s what the T-shirts look like – grey, black and have 1 large pink.
